Gold Coast Florist - Flowers at the Door | Valentine's Day has bloomed and in moves "Cyclone Marcia"
As the week ends here at FATD so do the life of your Valentine's Day cut flowers. If you have been lucky enough to still have some blooming roses, celosia, ink berry, snapdragons, sedum and greenery left have a good sort through the spent flowers and the living. Give them a big trim, remove all the remaining leaves and put them into a clean vase with fresh water. Hopefully your old water doesn't have a smell - you can avoid this by replacing your water more frequently. I like to put the remaining flowers into a different vase and usually smaller so they have more chance of staying beautiful for a little longer. Separating them up into a small grouping of vases is also refreshing and fun. As we say here at The Door, "We choose the flowers, you choose the style". I will post a photo tutorial of how to do this with some cute little jars - keep an eye out... coming soon.
Wow, as "Cyclone Marcia" has approached the coastline we are feeling the effects with the continuous rainfall here on the Gold Coast. Our delivery drivers can brave the weather to ensure you get your Gold Coast flower delivery delivered right to the door. Hopefully all the residents North of us are now bunkered down and can stay safe through this harrowing ordeal they will go through.
Even our dog "Scruffy" isn't happy with the change of weather. Ooh too cute - hahaha.
Stay dry.
