The cut Privet Berries (Ligustrum Sinense) make wonderful filler greenery for arrangements, posy's and on occasion in Market Wrap Flowers when their stems are long enough. I haven't seen them as a cut stem much longer than 50cm and this is why they are more commonly used in smaller types of bridal work or flower arrangements. The most common privet berries used are the black or dark purple type. But they are also available in green and white. We see more of the Green/Purple colours on the Gold Coast for our flower work. Their round shape berry, small size and dense grape vine shape make them perfect to fill up the in-between space in floral arrangements. They are trending in bridal bouquets.
