I have had the pleasure of working on some funeral flowers this week.  A friend was away holidaying for the week so I got to look after her workload which I always enjoy.  The casket sprays can take some time to complete but it leaves you with an incredible sense of pride.  Because you are standing up close and walking back away from your work so many times you feel like quite the artist.  You become incredibly fussy as you know that as someone's loved one is laid to rest your flowers are what give them some comfort and distraction while they brave their emotions.  This is the largest raised casket spray I have ever done and even I was in awe with it's overwhelming beauty.
