Gold Coast Florist - Flowers at the Door | Spring Flowers

It's Spring and its starting to warm up quickly here on the Gold Coast.  This is when us florists take extra care with flowers to help with their longevity.  You want to know the best flower care tips on offer?  We have flower care tips here at Flowers at the Door Gold Coast Flowers and Gifts.  We sound like a broken record but there is no hidden secrets it really is about the position, trim and change of water.  In other words to get a longer duration out of your flowers place them away from direct sunlight, trim the stems if they are cut flowers bouquets every couple of days with a change of water.  If you have received an arrangement of flowers you obviously can't trim the stems of the flowers.  You just need to top up the water level to ensure the flowers have enough water.  Remove any spent flowers as every flower bloom has a different longevity and some will be in bud on arrival and others with be in full bloom beauty.  Often as you see blooms come to the end of their display your size of flowers will decrease and on one of the flower trimming days it is nice to go into a different vase (usually smaller in size).  Enjoy your fresh flowers and take care of them and they will last a lot longer for you in return.

Spring Flowers are some of my personal favourites as flowers are starting to peek in their cycle and others are just starting to arrive.  You will see Ranunculus Double Flowers, Roses, Native Flowers Eriostemon, Freesia Flowers, Freesia Double Flowers, Moss, Snapdragons, Hellebores Flowers, Statice Flower, Hyacinth, Native Flower Thryptomene, Andromeder Flower, Poppy Flower, Stock Flowers, Stock Double Flower, Seasonal Flower Queen Ann Lace, Delphinium Flower, Daffodil Bridal Crown - Cream Flower, Daffodil Double - Yellow Flower, Tulip Flower, Seasonal Flower Sweet William, Gypsy Flower, Gerbera Flower, Gerbera Pompom Flower and this is just naming a few of the flowers that are currently in season!
