I like to use local growers whenever possible for the roses as they are longer lasting and open to their full beauty. Sometimes you will get a rose that will droop very early on and that might mean it has an air lock and isn't able to drink in the water. What I suggest you do is as soon as you notice a change (drooping or soft) to give it a nice trim on an angle and put it in it's own vase to see if you can get it drinking. Fingers crossed it will do the trick. Nature is a gift to enjoy sometimes it may have been knocked and damaged or just didn't want to be picked for a vase :-( We would like to think all flowers will last for ever but this is not the case so be sure to trim them every second day if they are in a vase and add fresh water. We recommend you cut off the tie off string on your first water and trim as the blooms would be starting to open up and the flowers will need some room for their blooms to open to their full glory. If they are arranged into some green oasis foam every second day top up with fresh water. No need to trim the flowers as they are arranged into the oasis.
