Story

The Flowers at the Door story starts somewhere about here….it was when my youngest of three started school that it was time to leave the hustle and bustle of the school car park to pursue the enchanting world of flowers.  Growing up Mum was a floral designer and an avid gardener whom is green thumbed and super creative – she inspired me to open the doors of my inner creativity.  So I studied through Gold Coast Floristry Retail Management www.goldcoastfloristrymanagement.com.au, did my work experience at Moss’n Stone, worked at local markets for a wholesaler and then onto a beautiful florist Botanique Flowers and Gifts in Helensvale.   It was here at Botanique I was lucky enough to work for the immensely talented Tina.  It has been an amazing journey working along side so many beautiful, empowering, talented ladies where each day we live life, share hopes, thoughts, ambitions, our friendships I will continue to be grateful for.  I dreamed of maybe one day opening my own store selecting the flowers directly from the markets, still tending to the chickens, the dog and two cats, the family (of course).  I began spending considerable time thinking about the next chapter.  Then one day shortly after Flowers at the Door online flower and gift store opened. Based in Helensvale on the Gold Coast offering beautiful weekly flowers, flower deliveries Gold Coast, flowers and gift deliveries Gold Coast.

We are small but big on bringing joy in designing, snipping, chatting, creating, laughing, beautifying, welcoming and celebrating with flowers.  We all cherish the hand-written notes so we create the card message notes in a hand written font.  Following the trends, keeping a simple flower menu to order from, we choose the flowers and you choose the style. Flowers ordered online and delivered to your Gold Coast door!

Each week on a Friday we post a “This Moment” on facebook. It started on the first Friday before the Door opened online.

{ this moment } A Friday ritual. A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. ~Amanda Soule
